Check out this useful method of prepping garlic after harvest. Just take the stem and peel back the outer layers. Once you are near the base, split the leaf in half and peel the outer layer way. Trim the root ball to reduce the risk of rot and excess moisture in the bulb. Hang for 2 weeks and there you have cured your garlic. Good to plait for storage, harvesting from the bottom up. Happy garlic eating.

Thanks to Rhubarb Rhubarb Organics for taking on our black garlic range - they clearly are our kind of people, interested in nourishing real food that tastes great as well. Hope it goes well for you
Thrilled to be one of 10 innovative and inspiring businesses from across Australia that have been hailed ‘Regional Online Heroes’ in the annual competition run by the Regional Australia Institute (RAI) and Google Australia.
The Regional Online Heroes competition recognises small to medium sized businesses who have successfully expanded beyond traditional bricks and mortar, using the internet to grow nationally and in some cases internationally. Super exciting to be able to attend Google headquarters Sydney for a Masterclass and individual consultation on our digital approach to business. Cocktails on Sydney Harbour sounds fine too. Thanks to RAI and Google, along with our families, friends, customers and colleagues. This will certainly be the office Christmas outing! |
