What is black garlic? This is not a variety of garlic, but a wonderful slow cooked preparation of various garlic varieties. We use a white fleshed purple skinned variety. Garlic is stored under controlled temperature and humidity to produce tarry black cloves with umami flavours of sweet molasses. There are no additives, extra ingredients or preservatives, just pure garlic. It does not require any extra cooking, just add for maximum flavour.
Black garlic has long been made in Korea as a healthy superfood, high in antioxidants. Trials of black garlic have explored the health benefits. You can experience the soft moist gentle flavour of black garlic without the bite or the offensive after-breath. Our black garlic has an 18 month shelf life and needs to stored in a cool place. Keep steam away from the powders as they love to suck in moisture!

How much is postage? Free for domestic orders over $100 - $12.50 postage and handling for smaller orders. Please email us for advice about international orders.
Do I need a PayPal account? No. We accept payment via Square with credit card or via your PayPal account.
On Safari, why am I getting an error message? Older versions of Safari are not supported by Apple and therefore don't make secure connections so are rejected by the e-commerce function. Either update Safari or use an alternate browser like Chrome or Internet Explorer
Can I send a gift? Yes - just put the recipient details in the Shipping Address box and any personalized message in the Note to Seller box. Your details will go on the payment page and we will present your choices as a gift with your note and send to your lucky recipient. No payment details will be included.
What would make a great gift? Our twin pack makes a lovely gift. We will pack your choices in one parcel looking at their best and thrill your recipient. Check out our new garlic gift packs.
How soon will my garlic arrive? We send out parcels twice per week via Australia Post (small or remote orders) or Fastway (larger orders). We are 2 days from most capital cities so please allow sufficient time for your order to arrive. If you have a rush job please talk to us so we can see what we can do.
Can I track my parcel? Yes - your shipping email will include a tracking number for Australia Post, which you can track on their website. Fastway parcels can be tracked here. Give it a few hours after you receive the shipping email as your parcel needs to get from the farm to our post office to commence the journey to you.
